Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Greensboro, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Greensboro is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My wife & I came with Friends. Of course, the atmosphere and the dinner show made it a good time. But I was disappointed with the food. Everything tasted the same. I have eaten at many of these cooked in front of you Japanese restaurants. And most of the time, you know up front you are going to sacrifice a little culinary delight for the entertainment experience. But always the food is good, just not great. But here, it was just ok, (At Best). And many special things were missing. The promised lemonaide to go didn't come. The cook thought it was funny & asked me to come tomorrow for the mushrooms I asked for. I wasn't laughing. And the dinner was at least $20 overpriced. Our meal was $149 for two. I didn't complain because I certainly didn't want to spoil my evening with my friends. So we made a good evening of it. But I don't want to come back here again. A 4 is as high as I can give them.

came here for my birthday a couple weeks ago and had such a great experience thanks to our hibachi chef brian, he was very kind and attentive and made sure everyone was fulfilled. it is on the pricer end for hibachi but it is worth it to pay for the experience because the place is clean and looks great. i got the steak and chicken and it was so good. very big fan of their ginger dressing!!!

First-time visitor while visting in Greensboro. Itβs been a lonnnnng time since we visited a Japanese Steakhouse. This one was right next to our hotel so we thought what the heck βwe will walk over. Good choice. We arrived right as they opened at 5:15pm so we were able to have a table to ourselves before the crowds came. I luv how the Chefs are entertaining as they prepare the food right in front of you. The portions are huge and filling. My husband (the Asian food lover) devoured the rice, it was delicious and fresh tasting. I ate all my veggies (which is rare). I ordered cocktails the Sumuari Sunset and it was very tasty. It was a good food and food times.

We were seated quickly after our reservation, but ended up waiting around 40 minutes to actually eat, which wasnβt ideal. We ordered the ribeye and the sashimi both tasted good. The steak wasnβt cooked quite to the temperature we asked for, but overall it was decent. The portions were nice, but the whole dinner felt rushed. As soon as the chef left our table, the waiter brought out boxes, which made it hard to really enjoy our meal. Overall, Iβd give it a 7/10. It feels more like a place you go for the experience of watching the chef cook in front of you rather than for the food itself.

6-28-26 Had to redo this review. Went tonight. Food was good but not as good as usual. Our cook put on his show but definitely was not onto it. Two people at our table ordered food off the menu instead of what was going on and did not get their food till the end. One was an elderly lady. The cook gave her and the guy samples of things but they never got their meals because the order was not put in. As usual it was my granddaughters (16th) birthday celebration and I told them in the beginning and had to tell someone else to get her sang to and her bday dessert that was frozen so she didn't even get to enjoy. It was left behind!!!! Definitely not the birthday fun we are use to --------------------------------- ***2025*** One of my granddaughters' favorite places to celebrate her birthday :) Great food and an enjoyable cooking show...
